Holger Winnemöller

Principal Scientist

Holger is a principal scientist at Adobe Systems, Inc. He enjoys combining his fondness of creative expression (drawing, sketching, and design) with the challenges of user-centric applications, particularly for novices. In his research, he works to enable casual and aspiring creatives, by lowering the point of entry and learning curve of digital art creation tools. Holger obtained his PhD in computer science from Northwestern University in 2006. Previously, he spent several years in South Africa at the University of Cape Town and Rhodes University in Grahamstown, where he received his M.Sc. in Computer Science and his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Physics with applied electronics. He is a member of ACM and ACM SIGGRAPH.
