Tobias Hinz

Machine Learning Research Engineer

Tobias Hinz joined the Graphics Intelligence & Learning Lab as a Machine Learning Research Engineer in 2021. He is interested in all things related to generative models for computer vision and has worked with Generative Adversarial Nets (GANs) and diffusion models for unconditional and conditional image generation and translation, text-to-image synthesis, and few-shot learning. Prior to Adobe he was a Research Associate with the Crossmodal Learning Project. Tobias obtained his PhD and Master’s degree in Intelligent Adaptive Systems from the University of Hamburg (Germany) and has received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics from the University of Mannheim (Germany). He is located in the San Jose office in California.
