Dr. Xiaoyang Li (Rebecca) joined Adobe Research as a Research Engineer in 2021. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Houston in large-scale medical image processing.

Her diverse professional domain experiences cover different AI application fields: Image editing and generation software, Medical Imaging, Self-driving Car, and Oil & Gas. She also has established a track record of publications in the top-tier journals and AI conferences  in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.

She is the main developer of the cross-library image augmentation module “Beacon-aug” at Adobe Research.

Research interests: Image Augmentation, Segmentation, Pixel Inpainting, Object Detection/Classification, Compressive Sensing, CNN, GANs.
