Leo Zhicheng Liu
Leo is a research scientist at Adobe Research. His primary research interests are in the areas of information visualization, visual analytics, and cognitive science. He builds interactive systems to support data analysis and use empirical methods to understand the nature and processes of visual analysis.
Leo completed his Ph.D. in Human-Centered Computing at Georgia Tech in 2012, advised by John Stasko. His thesis work investigated the problem of modeling and visualizing multi-dimensional data as networks. Leo then worked as a postdoc with Jeff Heer at Stanford University on imMens, a system that enables real-time visual querying of billion+ element databases.
