Adobe at CHI 2023

In one Adobe co-authored paper, the authors present an intelligent and interactive color authoring tool to assist novice designers in crafting harmonic color palettes, achieving quick design iterations, and fulfilling design constraints.

Adobe researchers co-authored six papers at the annual ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI 2023). CHI – pronounced ‘kai’ – is widely considered to be the top international conference for Human-Computer Interaction research work. At CHI, a diverse group of researchers and practitioners gather to discuss the latest in interactive technology. This year, CHI will be held from April 23 to 28 in a hybrid format, with the in-person conference taking place in Hamburg, Germany. 

In addition to co-authoring six full papers at CHI this year, Adobe researchers co-authored five Late-Breaking Works. CHI states that Late-Breaking Works provide the CHI community with an opportunity to present new and exciting contributions that showcase innovative technologies, extend prior research conversations, detail short self-contained studies, or provide provocations for new work and ideas to emerge. 

A number of Adobe researchers also served as Associate Chairs (AC) and external reviewers to help ensure high-quality reviews for the thousands of paper submissions that CHI received:
