Christine Dierk

Research Scientist

Christine joined Adobe Research in August 2020. Specializing in human-computer interaction (HCI), her current research investigates novel human-AI interaction techniques, as well as human-centered evaluation strategies for intelligent agents and assistants. Previously, Christine contributed to hardware initiatives, including Project Primrose. 

Christine received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2020, where she was advised by Prof. Eric Paulos as part of the Hybrid Ecologies Lab. Her graduate research explored new form factors for wearable technologies, enabling novel interactions and new relationships with technology on the body. Prior to studying at UC Berkeley, Christine graduated from Elon University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Math.

Christine’s research has been published at CHI, UIST, DIS, and TEI. Her work has been covered by Forbes, USA Today, People Magazine, Vogue Business, and the Daily Mail, among other outlets. Details about her projects and publications can be found on her personal website.
