I’m a research scientist at Adobe’s Creative Intelligence Lab, San Francisco, California.
I received my PhD in Computer Science in Fall 2017. I am advised by Professor Feng Liu in the Computer Graphics & Vision Lab at Portland State University.
My research lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction and Virtual Reality. My PhD’s dissertation explores 360 degree video authoring tools in VR. Some parts of this work have been integrated into Adobe Premiere. Before that, I focused on developing direct interactions techniques for video. My research has received Best Paper Honorable Mention awards at ACM CHI 2013, 2015, and 2017. Please refer to my personal website for more information.
I’m currently interested in exploring new tools and interactions techniques to support media production in VR/AR. Please feel free to reach out for collaboration or internship discussion.
