Puneet Mathur

Puneet is a Research Scientist at Adobe Research, where he focuses on advancing the frontiers of document understanding, NLP, and multimodal AI. His research spans LLMs, agents, reasoning, and their applications in enhancing document intelligence.

He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2023, where he was advised by Dr. Dinesh Manocha. Before his doctoral studies, he earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from UMD in 2021 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in 2018.

At Adobe Research, Puneet continues to push the boundaries of how machines understand and process complex, multi-format documents, contributing to next-generation technologies that enhance human creativity and productivity.
