Subrata is a Senior Research Scientist at Adobe Research, Bangalore, India. His research interests span the areas of designing scalable and efficient machine-learning systems, generative-AI training and inference optimizations, cloud computing and big-data processing systems.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette.
Prior to Adobe Research, he worked at Intel and Synopsys on new product development and interned at Microsoft Research, AT&T Research and Lawrence Livermore National Labs. He has co-authored 35+ publications in top systems and ML venues and have co-invented in 25+ filed US patents.
