Giuseppe joined Adobe Research in 2025, after completing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Catania, under the supervision of Concetto Spampinato. During his PhD, he explored how to improve autonomous navigation of ground robots in unstructured outdoor environments, while also developing methods for material capture and generation to enhance the realism of virtual worlds for robot training.
At Adobe, Giuseppe focuses on deep learning models for the generation and editing of digital materials. His work aims to give artists more efficient and controllable tools for creating high-quality assets.
Outside the lab, Giuseppe is a passionate traveler, mountaineer, and photographer, merging his passion for the outdoors with creative experimentation. More details, including a list of publications and open-source work, can be found on his personal website.
