Michael is a research scientist at Adobe. His work focuses on intelligent optimization, inverse rendering and 3D scene- and appearance understanding.

Michael received his PhD from UCL, supervised by Tobias Ritschel and Niloy Mitra. Prior to that, he was awarded a B.Sc. in aerospace information technology and a M.Sc. (with honors) in computer science with focus on intelligent systems from JMU Germany.
